My current favourite....

What's your favourite fixed blade?

It's a tight race between these two. (https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170215/1d19087807e647a88d30422b994c94ac.jpg)

Esee Izula 2.
I've only got a couple others though so not many to choose from.

How do you like the handle? I was thinking of getting one for mine, but am not sure how much bulk it will add under my shirt. Will it start leaving a bulge under a tshirt and such?

I love the handle, I don't wear it under a shirt though
I tie it to my belt and put it in my front pocket.
It bulges a little... but it's like carrying a larger framed gun, it'll print a little bit with just a t shirt, but honestly no one is looking and if someone does notice they're probably carrying too.

I think I will have to get one of those IZULAs. I've been making some home-grown 'micarta' with denim that would be fun to attach to it.

I want to see that pic when you get it done. How did you make the micarta? Can you point me to some good sources for learning?

Not to get too off-topic... But I just searched around online (http://www.instructables.com/id/How-to-Make-Micarta-The-Easy-Way/) for directions.
Basically you cut rectangles of cloth and layer them onto each-other while coating them with resin or epoxy.
I got cheap ($15) fiberglass resin for my first attempts. Epoxy is a bit too expensive for me to experiment with, but I hear you get better results (harder) with it.

I've been debating on trying it myself...
My Izula came with handles... but I've seen people get good results doing it themselves.

That Esee Izula 2 is nice.
