I really like what you've done with adding a finger choil.  I use multiple Mora knives in my role as Forest School Leader and my favourite has to be the Mora 2000.  Sharp as hell, tough as old boots and comfy as a well worn slipper.  I really like the flared pommel that you can use as an anchor/pivot point when chopping.  My second favourite is the 510 (so light as to be almost unnoticeable on the belt) as it is just as tough and almost as comfy.  The clippers are good practical knives (I have some that my clients use) but they lack character.  For some unfathomable reason I never really took to the wood handled variety in general....

Welcome! / Re: Budget Knife Forum Welcomes you!

Hi I'm Moose.
Live in the UK and although have a few relatively expensive knives, budget folders and  high value for money fixed blades are generally what feed my cutlery itch:
Sanrenmu, Ganzo, Navy, Mora, Saks.... I also have a few really good (and a couple of bad) clones.

Used to have much love for Benchmade and Spyderco but their prices these days......

So I found myself searching for fellow cutlery enthusiasts who shared my reluctance to be left feeling gouged in the name of uber steels and brand cachet.

Great idea, well done and thank you Nick for setting this space up I really hope it takes off.

When I get better at taking pictures I shall post a few thoughts on some of my collection.
