Ken Onion WorkSharp
« on: March 10, 2016, 11:02:48 am »
I got a Ken Onion Worksharp recently and I finally found a quick and easy way to keep all of my tools sharp .
I have used it on every knife in the house , a machete , a hatchet , and my lawnmower blades .
The convex edge seems to last longer than a beveled edge , and slicing is much easier .
I'm push cutting things like never before .
Although the KO WorkSharp is a bit pricey , I think it was money well spent .

Wow, that is a nice looking machine. I had never heard of it before.

It might be worth it for accurate and easy convex grinds. I have done some by hand but I have trouble getting them accurate. I need to show my knives more regular use so I can practice sharpening more often  :)

Just as a demonstration , I turned a butter knife into a razor sharp steak knife in four minutes .

I've tried other sharpening systems and nothing is easier or quicker .
